Total Package Action

The Codester returns, back to play in another surprise-filled season of Total Drama. Though things have certainly changed for Cody since the last time he was on TV, and I have a feeling he’ll have a much better shot at that grand prize this season…

Shocker! I’ve drawn someone besides Danny. Pretty much zero muscle art of Cody exists (well, besides the previous times I did it) so I grabbed my motivation and did this.

Full disclosure, this is unrelated to the recently-announced Total Drama revival; it'd be a miracle if I made art to be topically relevant.

Screencap Edit #1a: Not So Junior Anymore

I knew someday my artistic motivation would be reduced to screencap edits.
Sent in by coolhegey8132 on Tumblr, Dwayne Junior from the Total Drama franchise. Not my favorite of the bunch (that’d be Cody) but still in the running for some buffing.
First time playing all that much with line weight, in a bid to keep it on-style, but this was a little more of a challenge than I thought it would be.
Will have to get to the “taller” variant I promised him another time – by the time I finished this half of it I just wanted to put it out.

I am taking screencap edit requests, like I do for my regular art, and I already have gotten a few in, so feel free to throw one my way. My usual request guidelines apply – if I like your idea, I’ll do it, but no guarantees on a timeframe. The bigger and clearer the image on these, the better, as I export these at the same size I get them in and it’ll give you a better-quality image back.

For the record, the timing (and relative tameness) of this isn’t related in any way to the grand Tumblr purge that’s happened this week; I’ll be here posting big beef and big meat until they kick me off here. (And it’s not like too many people are going to see this anyway). This just happened to be a tame posting week.

Totally Built Cody

Great news! Ratings for this new, style-swapped season of Total Drama are through the roof! And it seems like this new buff Cody is the most popular character. The producers can’t help it but to give the fans more of what they want…

I think this might just be the biggest dude I’ve done yet. Veins aren’t a usual feature of my work, but it helps create a bit of story around the picture; perhaps Cody didn’t exactly get this muscular upgrade through natural means…

Plus, the Codester’s other big beef is sure to interest all the ladies. And probably some of the guys too, in envy.

Follow up to the Cody picture I posted on dA last fall (and here last week) that I made in December. No such thing as too big, and I think Cody would agree. I’m sure the ladies on the show will want to flock to those big biceps and that big bulge…

Total Drama: Reinvention of the Island

The producers of the Total Drama franchise had a crazy idea for the new season – why not take the existing characters fans know and love, and switch around their “styles” a little bit? A few months, trial and error, and some questionable genetic experiments later, they’re ready to change their first subject – er, “new contestant”. And who better to start with than Cody, the striving-to-be-slick nerd who could use a bump in his “ladies’ man” cred? So, take some of Alejandro’s charm and a lot more of his body (I have a feeling people are going to see through that guy's tricks this season!), and you’ve got one heck of a new competitor who’ll be familiar, but very different – and I’m sure Cody won’t mind the changes at all…

I never watched the Total Drama series, but for some reason, I’m attracted to Cody as a great recipient of my not-yet-famous “sweet muscular redemption”. I have absolutely no clue why. Maybe it’s because he’s so scrawny? Not to mention I had no idea about his personality until I had to look it up so I could write this description. I'm sure you guys can tell me if I’m starting to develop a “type” or anything.

I've been trying to put up something new around here for a little while, so I decided to finish up this one today. Probably what's held this one up is getting the bulge done as well as the background I was planning on, which probably took more time than redesigning the base I've already used previously.

Plus, what's a reality show if not for people being radically different from how they usually are? I'm taking some art and design suggestions on this here Cody in the comments (here or on dA) or messages on DeviantArt. I might have an idea or two myself, but you guys might be a little more "creative" with him than me. Feel free to go nuts with this one -- I know there's a bit of a fandom out there.
