Screencap Edit #9: I *Am* Happy To See You

Another one of those canon scenes from the show that's just begging for an edit. 

A now-defunct DeviantArt user who went by BluesyMammal(some jumble of numbers) did some muscular Danny art that drew over poses from the show, which I think inadvertently fueled this.

Jock Danny Edit #4: Doubles in the Dark

“Awww, why don’t I get to be super-buff as a ghost?” 

- “I don’t know – I’m just your duplicate, remember? You only make me when you’re worried that people are going to find out that you’re – we’re Danny Phantom.” 

“Yeah, but I’m buff now! Can’t you be buff too?” 

- “It would be cool, and yes, I would love it, but think about it like this: no one’s going to suspect you, a hulking jock, to be me, a skinny superhero. It’s like an extra layer of identity protection.” 

“Yeah, but it would still be nice if you could be as buff as me.” 

- “Can we just focus on what we’re looking for?”

This is a very weird edit, and not just because if I were actually drawing it they’d both be plenty buff. This was originally an image involving Danny and Dash, of course, from the episode “Micro Management”. I’m sure if this situation were real and Danny could manage a human duplicate of himself at close distance, his life would’ve been a little bit easier. 

Not making a 'bigger' edit of this one as I've done (and plan to do) for others in this set, as working around that glowing light coming from Phantom's right hand would be a nightmare.

Screencap Edit #8: Buff World Problems

Don’t complain about your muscles, Danny; someone could take them away from you.

It seems Danny’s having some trouble adjusting to his newfound musculature. Not being as skinny or weak as he used to be means that Danny’s been unwittingly exercising a bit too much force. I’m sure he’ll get used to it though.

Was interested in the slight challenge the pose offered, plus the scenario that would be created by editing this image with that caption sounded like fun. Tried to also edit the legs at first, but eventually I decided it wasn’t worth the extra effort. Still stuck in a cock though…

Jock Danny Edit #2a: Looking Good

“I look good like this…”

By far one of my favorite screencaps that I’ve been meaning to do something with (either a redraw or an edit like this, possibly both) for a while. It is a bit of a challenge to do, given the mirror and having to work out both angles. I think I did pretty well on it though. Buffer version coming eventually, because it doesn't deserve to not have one. (Like come on, it's begging for it.)

Jock Danny Edit #1a: Breaking The New Body In

Kwan: “Hey, you’re already getting used to that body!”
Danny: “Thanks! I just feel so powerful, you know?”
Kwan: “It’s amazing, isn’t it?”

I liked the ideas set in motion by screencap edits #2a and #2b so much that I decided to try my hand at making them a separate edit series. This edit came out pretty well. There's a 'bigger' version of this edit in the works (like #2b) but getting that done was holding this one up, so I decided to just start with the basic ones first.

I’ll let you guys decide in the comments as to how exactly Danny got so buff, and how Kwan knows about it.

Screencap Edit #7: Guy Hang-Time

“Guy, having your new muscle body when you’re not when you’re not being a hero was supposed to be an incentive for you to take being SheZow more seriously. Not to see how hard you could pig out!”

Another one where the low image quality proved to be a bit of a challenge (not to mention the angle). Guy Hamdon should have more muscle art in the same exact way and for the same exact reasons that Marco Diaz should have more muscle art.

Screencap Edit #6: With That Bod? Yeah You Are!

C’mon, it’s Danny in a tank top. It’s just begging for an edit. The quote made it better.

Liked how the first one turned out, but I thought I could make him bigger, so therefore I made him bigger.

Screencap Edit #5: Green-Eyed Hulking Half-Ghost

You won’t like him when he’s angry…
Yeah yeah, that’s the Hulk, but honestly, looks like he’d do it here. Another one that I found myself and isn’t a request. Was in the mood for the challenge the pose brought plus the potential for Danny to just hulk out. Honestly, this is one of my favorite things I've done in a while.
