A jock of all trades, including wrestling (#14-16)

Three pictures I did based around Danny Joins the Wrestling Team, one of my all-time favorite stories (and corresponding artworks) and one of the first things I saw when I got here [to DeviantArt]. darkluster4’s stuff is honestly what probably got me so interested in beefing up Danny in the first place.

I dunno where or how I came up with the idea that Mickey’s singlet was green. Maybe my mind just jumped to a seemingly obvious conclusion?

I also don’t know why I decided to do Mickey’s eyes as brown. Perhaps it was just to contrast Danny’s blue? The actual color is never said in the story, so it could be anything. (Danny Phantom did have its share of odd eye colors, after all…)

The DeviantArt explanations for these three pics say basically all I wanted to say here. I was really inspired by that stuff starting out, and even though I’ve branched out into other characters and things, I think Danny’s still gonna have a weird little place in the muscle-loving part of my heart.

Just jocking around (B #3)

As Danny got more acquainted with his hot, massive body, he got more acquainted with the school’s jocks. They started inviting him to workout sessions, and after that he became much more jock-like; he started showing off more, he got a little more physical; and at the request of one athlete, he even grew out an admirable amount of pit hair.

I wanted to draw the top (some kind of weird cross between a tank top and a muscle tee?); Reshirblade wanted the pit hair. So, given his request was a quick add-in I tacked it on at the end. I don't even think you can really see it on that background; we'll see I guess.

Personally though, I prefer my muscle men clean-shaven: no facial hair, no pit hair, no arm hair, no chest hair, maybe a bush of pubic hair but that’s it.

Tight fit (B #2)

I think Danny's gonna need a bigger jacket. Or maybe he could just ask the polter-jock if he could just make it perfectly acceptable if Danny wore no top at all... 

As requested by Reshirblade, essentially a "bigger" version of Big beef on campus (#5) (or its alternate Buff Danny Phantom #5 alt (#8)). Not that I mind.

The second, less weird half of the Shezow two-parter I drew. The fact that I skipped shading on this (as well as the position I drew him in) sorta makes this pair of images reminiscent of paradogta's (DeviantArt, Twitter) earlier stuff. At least to me it does anyway.

Shez -- uhhh...

Things got awkward for Shezow once puberty hit.

The first half of a two-parter. I’ll admit, this image is probably the strangest thing I’ll ever post here. It’s clearly the strangest thing I’ve ever made. But it goes to show even dudes who got dealt some pretty strange hands in life can get sweet, muscular redemption.

This was supposed to be a quick drawing but it took way longer than I anticipated it to.
For anyone wondering why Shezow’s trademark leopard print isn’t on here, it’s because by the time I got to coloring I pretty much just wanted to be done with this crazy piece so I skipped on it. If anyone wants to make an edit of this to add that themselves then be my guest. It shouldn’t be too hard if you have Photoshop; all the lines are pretty smooth.

I don’t think I’ll ever be drawing Guy or Shezow again, especially the latter – this was sort of a one-time gust of inspiration, and I think this will serve fine enough as a rebuke to all the hyper-feminine Shezow pictures I often see around (I won’t name names or places). I’m just bringing the premise of Shezow to a logical conclusion.

Larger and very much in charge (B #1)

Danny enjoyed the power the ghost jock had given him, but soon enough he got curious; he wanted more power. The ghost was easily willing to cooperate. Danny felt his body start to expand; biceps bulging, legs swelling, his six-pack turning into an eight. Danny’s outfit, already expanded to fit his former frame, weren’t expanding with him this time. This only increased the pleasure Danny was experiencing; even up to the point of arousal “downstairs”. His package was expanding the previously noticeable bulge in Danny’s jeans; already breaking at their seams thanks to Danny’s growing legs. His shirt was tightening around his expanding chest, and Danny could feel what was going to happen next. His T-shirt burst open, his pecs single-handedly splitting the garment down the middle. Soon after, Danny’s growth stopped, but he felt more energized thanks to the new power coursing through him…

Someone requested a bigger version of Danny, so as a believer that there’s no such thing as too big, I had to oblige. It was a bit of a challenge; I’m still trying to find a good balance between lines and shading, mainly on the clothes (if anyone with experience in this area has some tips I’d be happy to hear them) but I think I managed.

So what is a budding muscle artist to do with an okay muscle growth image? Make it bigger, duh! Did a bit of a redraw of it and blew Danny up to even bigger proportions.

The legend of the ghost jock (#10)

Did someone say ghost jock? Well now I said ghost jock, so it’s a thing now

It seems Danny’s liking the power fantasy of being top jock so much that he asked the polter-jock for a ghost version of it for his hero side.

Thought of this while finishing up Reshirblade’s suggestion. Perhaps Danny is enjoying the perks of being a jock too much?

So given that I had already done jock Danny Fenton, one day while working on another image for the set, I came up with Danny Phantom, ghost jock. Perhaps it’s a side hobby if he’s ever in the Ghost Zone for non-business reasons?  Who knows.

First I tried to make green work on the letterman jacket (similarly to the red on the “Fenton” jacket), but it ultimately didn’t work out, so I just did black and gray Phantom colors for a fourth version, which worked out far better. Maybe sometimes the best ideas are the simplest?
